Guam Radiology Consultants is the largest and most advanced Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology center in the Western Pacific. We operate during regular clinic hours from: 8AM – 6PM, Monday to Friday and 8AM - 1PM on Saturday. There is no call or weekend work required. You will be supported by a full team of U.S. board certified physicians providing imaging and interventional radiology procedures. We all get along well and strive for an excellent work-life balance. We are looking for full time General and Vascular Sonographers to join our team. Experience with vascular imaging is highly preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong general sonography experience who can do the full suite of ultrasound imaging, including OB. JOB TITLE: Sonographer


CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Permanent Employee – Full Time


JOB SUMMARY:

Will work as a member of our ultrasound team completing diagnostic ultrasound procedures. We complete general ultrasound, OB, vascular, and use ultrasound to guide interventional procedures.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Communicate with patients to ascertain history and communicate exam details.

  • Review patient charts for relevant clinical information.

  • Perform ultrasound scans while communicating with patients.

  • Perform a variety of basic and advanced ultrasound examinations independently with minimal to little supervision.

  • Interact with supervisory staff, support staff, and radiologists regarding patient and non-patient issues that may arise.

  • Help maintain equipment in good working order – we have excellent biomedical engineers on-site.


EXPERIENCE & SPECIFICATION:

Experience: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound or Radiologic Technology school (may be foreign equivalent). At Least 1 year of Medical Imaging preferred.

Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of sonography. An excellent communicator with patients and support staff. Must have a strong desire to work in a team-based environment and a willingness to learn from and teach colleagues.

SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with experience. Position is full time with benefits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 to $70.00 per hour, dependent upon experience and training.
